Viviva Colorsheets 16 color set “SPRING!”

We loved the original, now another 16 color Vivia product. Included in the new color range...four metallic colors, my favorite, a color called "lemon grass", and a yellow that is not only yellow, but a "happy" yellow.

How long do they last?  They last as long as a regular half pan set of watercolors.

Are they vegan/cruelty free?  Yes, our colorsheets are completely vegan and cruelty free. They are made from mineral dyes.

Are they toxic?  The colors are not toxic and completely safe to use! They've been tested by two separate labs for metal and other toxicity. The color names are chosen to match the colors they closest represent and not based on the chemical composition.

Do we need the watercolor brush for these colors or can we use other brushes too?  Any brush can be used with the colorsheets but we would recommend using a waterbrush since it's easiest to control the color and paint on the go.

Are the colors lightfast?  Some of the colors are lightfast and some are not. The red and orange do not fade away but the blues and black do fade. So we do not recommend exposing paintings to direct sunlight to ensure that they don't fade away. But you can certainly keep them in a sketchbook and they will remain vibrant!
