A dull yellow pigment, Mars Yellow is a synthetic iron oxide pigment.  Mars Yellow is our most opaque yellow and is useful for capturing a variety of subject matter from landscapes to botanicals.

Artist Notes:  Truly versatile across a range of applications, Mars Yellow is more opaque than Golden Ochre and duller than Naples Yellow Deep.  Combine Mars Yellow with a range of purples and violets to create beautiful browns that add depth and complexity to dried foliage and grasses.
