Join Mary Tevlin from Gamblin Artists Colors in Portland, Oregon for an exploration in oil painting tips and techniques! In this casual “Q & A”, discussion-style demonstration, we will discover, select, and master the materials that are best suited to each of our own artistic intentions. Learn more about the story behind Gamblin, what goes into their oil colors, plus also information on their range of oil painting mediums and studio safety.

Saturday 12:30pm-1:30pm – Learn to Varnish like a Pro with Gamblin Gamvar Picture Varnish
Do you have F.O.V (Fear of Varnishing) ? Come see and learn for yourself how Gamvar is the easiest way to make your painting look better. Mary Tevlin from Gamblin Artists Colors in Portland, Oregon will be on-location to explain the benefits of varnishing, proper application tools, techniques, and how to varnish like one of the pros. Participants are welcome to bring a dry oil or acrylic painting for them to have personally varnished by Mary on sight. Oil paintings need to have been dry for 2-3 weeks, acrylic for 2-3 days minimum. (No mixed media or collage paintings)
