Wet Felt Slippers
April 2 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
$95.00
In this one day workshop you’ll design and wet felt a pair of slippers!
Everybody loves a pair of comfy slippers!. In this workshop you’ll learn how to make your very own, designed just how you like; tall or short, slip on or slip in.
Some wet felting experience can be helpful, but not necessary. I’ve taught this to first time felters with huge success.
Prior to class you’ll receive an email with detailed instruction on preparation including design tips and selecting the right fiber.
6 students maximum

Here’s how the day will go:
-
Samples & Demonstration of Technique
-
Students will spend some time refining the design of their slippers if necessary
(color selection, pattern or imagery will be done prior to workshop with guidance) -
Fiber layout/wet out and fulling
-
Rinsing, cutting and shaping
Please note: Wet Felting requires standing most of the time and can be a bit physical. You’ll be making art and getting a workout! Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. 10am to 5pm with 2 – 1/2hour breaks.
