...where art is for everybody
Each week you will be provided a new subject to paint, or you can bring our own subject.
Ron studied art at John Herron Art School in Indianapolis and later studied at Chouinard Art School in Los Angeles. Ron has been a fine artist all his life. He has been working as a graphic designer and technical illustrator in LA and Spokane.
Ron Taylor's Class Handout
For Beginners: It is time to get over your fear of watercolors and jump in. Stan will teach the basics of watercolor painting; students don't need to bring supplies to the first class. Choosing subjects, drawing, technique, color, composition...everything will be addressed and demonstrate.
For Intermediate Students: Bring a subject or photo to work form and bring your supplies to the first class.
Stan is a member of the American Watercolor Society as well as an award winner with AWS. He has won three national first place awards in the last few years.

This class if currently full. We have a waiting list in case spaces become available. We are also taking names for Stan's next Wednesday class starting April 5, 2017.
Everyone is welcome for 3 hours of a social and artistic good time. Occasionally serious painting breaks out as well. Open studio time with some instruction provided. Bring your own materials and subjects.
Bring a "free spirit" to learn, and be prepared to laugh and have fun as you paint. Betty Jo encourages students to paint their own style, but tries to impart the correct way of applying pigments, color theory, textures and much more.
Joe blends a nice mix of studio painting time, demonstration and personal direction in this 3 hour class. Take a view of Joe's work at his website gallery. Since Joe is in such demand, it is best to contact Joe directly before coming your first time to check class dates and times!
This is the first time that Eric has taught here at SAS. His workshops are designed to loosen up even the tightest painter and break the detail habit.
